I'm Brandon.

I spent a decade as an air traffic controller — a job that teaches you quickly that clear communication and reliable processes aren't nice to have, they're everything. That mindset stuck.

These days I work in technology and automation, specializing in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform. Most of my writing is for a specific kind of person: the one who ended up responsible for building or maintaining systems without ever asking for that job. The coordinator who got voluntold to figure out Power Apps. The manager who inherited a spreadsheet that runs half the organization. The person doing technical work without a technical background, figuring it out as they go.

My belief is simple: most complex things are only complex because of the words we use to describe them. Strip that away and the path forward is usually pretty clear.
