About Brandon

I'm Brandon.

I spent a decade as an air traffic controller — a job that teaches you quickly that clear communication and reliable processes aren't nice to have, they're everything. That mindset stuck.

These days I work in technology and automation, helping small organizations get more out of the tools they already have — mostly Microsoft 365 and Power Platform. I also write about productivity and building practical systems for people who have better things to do than fight with spreadsheets.

My belief is simple: most complex things are only complex because of the words we use to describe them. Strip that away and the path forward is usually pretty clear.

I write here for the nonprofit coordinator drowning in manual processes, the small business owner who knows something needs to change but doesn't know where to start, and anyone who wants to build smarter systems without needing a computer science degree.

If something here helps you, that's the whole point. If you ever want to work together, I'm occasionally available for small consulting engagements.
